Taking co-signer off car loan?

I'm trying to take the co-signer off the car loan. I was approved to re-finance my vehicle. However, I purchased the car in another state and they said in order to have the loan completed, they need to know if the car is registered to myself AND the cosigner or to myself OR the cosigner. I purchased the car in Georgia and Georgia does not have and/or laws. Ownership is 50/50. Will I be able to complete the loan?
